An issue has been found which affects all Intellex Ultra Non-Raid models with BIOS revision 0045.
The primary symptoms are:
- The Drive Numbers for Disks displayed in the Windows Disk Manager do not match the physical hard drive positions in the front drive bay.
- In addition the hard drive ordering is not sequential.
Therefore care must be taken to identify the correct drive when performing the following operations:
- Recovery Disk operations on the system Flash Drive (C:)
- Recovery of the E:/F: Drives
- Replacement of any of the other data hard drives.
This document shows how to correctly identify a failed drive and must be used prior to any recovery or
drive replacement operation.
